Lightness – garments made from these fibres give us the wonderful feeling of wearing almost nothing at all. They are soft and shiny with an almost silky appearance and cling to the body.

Viscose is known for its...

...Its softness and flowing drape are particularly noticeable.
...It is also breathable.
...a slight natural sheen.

TENCEL™ Lyocell and LENZING™ Modal fibres are...

...They are moisture-regulating ...and naturally slightly shiny.
Naturally slightly shiny.
...Breathable.
...They are also naturally soft and supple.

  • Wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C and only use colour detergent.
  • Ensure a low spin cycle when washing.
  • Do not dry in direct sunlight.
  • Can be ironed with steam at low to medium heat.
  • Iron woven items after drying or while still slightly damp. This makes the fabric softer and more supple and ensures a smooth surface. It also helps to restore slightly shrunken items to their correct shape.

Our LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose is sourced from certified or controlled wood and is fully traceable thanks to modern technology. The fibres have been awarded the EU Ecolabel*, are certified as biodegradable and compostable**, and are produced with at least 50% fewer CO₂ emissions and less water*. LENZING™ ECOVERO™

*EU Ecolabel for textile products (licence no. AT/016/001)
**LENZING™ viscose standard fibres are certified by TÜV AUSTRIA as biodegradable in soil, freshwater and marine environments, as well as compostable under domestic and industrial conditions.

These fibres are sourced from certified or controlled wood and manufactured using a resource-efficient, closed production process. They are EU Ecolabel certified and deliver impressive reductions of at least 50% in CO₂ emissions and water consumption.

Soft, shiny and almost silky to the touch, our viscose modal/Tencel jersey fabric hugs the body.

This makes it our fabric of choice for elegant garments that offer complete freedom of movement. Its cool, smooth surface makes it particularly comfortable to wear in summer.

We use certified LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose fibres for our viscose jersey. 5% elastane ensures the fabric has a pleasant elasticity.

Care:

  • Viscose jersey should be washed on a gentle cycle and ideally with half a load to prevent pilling.
  • After washing, gently pull the fabric into shape. Iron inside out on a low to medium setting.
  • Friction during wear can cause pilling. Backpacks or bags should therefore not be carried directly on the fabric. Pills can be carefully removed with a lint shaver.

La, la, la – the wonderful feeling of wearing almost nothing is provided by our silky, woven viscose garments. This firm, thin fabric is perfect for summer.

Our woven viscose fabrics are made from 100% certified LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose fibres.

Care:

  • As with most Blutsgeschwister fabrics, woven viscose should be washed on a gentle cycle.
  • This material creases and shrinks easily. Therefore, it should be carefully pulled into shape after washing and, once dry, ironed or steamed with plenty of steam while still slightly damp.
  • Dobby or bobble viscose has a delicate structure that can be prone to snagging. To counteract this, items made from this fabric should always be washed in a laundry bag.

Knitwear is incredibly versatile, making it a great material for layered looks.

In winter, we focus on chunky knitwear, while in summer we focus on light knit tops made from fine yarns. In between, however, there is knitwear in almost every style.

We mostly use 100% organic cotton for our fine knitwear. Jacquard knitwear is typically made from a blend of 70% organic cotton and 30% lyocell (TENCEL™).

Care:
Compared to woven fabrics such as jersey, knitwear is more susceptible to mechanical stress due to its loose weave. Therefore, it is essential to use the washing machine's delicate, wool or hand wash programme and only half-fill the machine.
